I also read blogs for ideas and mostly to keep in touch with certain people (who may not even know me) because their lives and the things they're thinking about day-to-day are really interesting.
It's ironic, though, since over half of the content of my blog is "filler" for the sole purpose of having enough content to better "load-test" pyblosxom.
I think it brings up an interesting point, though. If you write an entry, then a few days later decide the entry's contents don't really flow right (maybe you realize the idea in the entry wasn't a very good idea), should you weed out the entry? I see a lot of angst against people who "edit" their blogs in the blogosphere. Is it better to sit on an entry for a week so that it bakes sufficiently before posting it?
