More on SSA in GCC
A few weeks ago I wrote about the new SSA based optimizer in GCC 3.5, and my experiences with Ken Zadeck as a grad student. Today (via Simon Law's blog) I discovered that Ken has been hired by Apple to improve the SSA optimizer in GCC. This is great news for people who are going to be using GCC, and for people using GCC on the Mac in particular.
