January<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n In January, Chase Jarvi<\/a>s, hosted<\/a> the Seattle Flickrites at an old aircraft hangar. I was helping to organize, so I didn’t get to shoot a lot, but the little bit that I did do was well worth it\n<\/div>\n

February<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n I finally made it to the old abandoned Blakely Harbor mill in February. There was awesome graffiti all over the walls of the structure\n<\/div>\n

March<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n I started my new job at Sun in March, and headed off to PyCon.\n<\/div>\n
\n \n<\/div>\n

April<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n In April I switched camera systems. I am really happy about that choice.\n<\/div>\n
\n \n<\/div>\n

May<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n May was a very busy month photographically. I shot an engagement session for a family wedding\n<\/div>\n

\n One day I headed out to Fort Worden State Park to hang out with some professional wedding photographers\n<\/div>\n

And May is the month that our daughters’ ballet studio has their big recital<\/p>\n

\n Our vacation in June included a trip to Smith Rock State Park in Oregon.\n <\/div>\n
\n \n <\/div>\n

\n I spent a lot of July on the road. Vilnius, Lithuania\n <\/div>\n

August<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n In August I made some photographs for the ballet studio\n <\/div>\n

September<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n I shot my first set of senior portraits in September\n <\/div>\n
\n \n <\/div>\n

\n I haven’t been around a lot this year to shoot with Seattle Flickrites. In October, a few of us took advantage of a local studio\n <\/div>\n

November<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n A number of dancers from the studio were involved with a local production of the Nutcracker. I shot the headshots that were used in the program\n <\/div>\n

December<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n And I photographed the actual performances once December rolled around\n <\/div>\n
