I shouldn&#8217;t have said &#8220;we need a community&#8221; because there is an Erlang community, and I knew that.    I have never been a fan of Java, and I don&#8217;t want to be stuck using the moral equivalent of Java when the multicore\/concurrency thing shakes out.
