It seems that my blog has a high number of readers on Macintoshes. I've had a few reports now that my blog doesn't render on Safari. Unfortunately, I don't have a MacOS X machine to test on, and "it works for me" on Windows IE, Mozilla, and Firebird (the last two on Linux as well).

If one of you Safari wizards has a hint on what I can do to fix this, please let me know. If you want to give me a MacOS X machine to test on, send mail.

Its interesting that aggregators that are most used are SharpReader, NetNewsWire, Radio Userland, and Syndirella. So the Mac folks are high on the blogerati list.

Safari is based on the KHTML rendering engine that is also used in Konqueror (the KDE web browser/file manager). If you have access to a Linux machine you may be able to debug the problem there.

The problem is that you are using HTML-style comments in the CSS stylesheet. CSS uses C-style comments. The page looks better in Safari when the comments are fixed.

Ok, I fixed the comments and ran it through the validator. Is it better for Safari folks now?

Yes, it's better. I don't see any obvious differences between the rendering on Safari / OS X and Firebird / Windows.
